Husband of The Year

Today I nominate Mark Nelson as Husband of The Year.  Not only is he the most giving, loving and perfect husband...he can DO anything!  Here is a list of things he has done lately...or better yet let's call this his list of accomplishments.

  1. Laundry Room.
Not only did he build me a beautiful laundry room, he DOES the laundry and folds it too!
  2. Baseboard.
He ordered approx. 2,500 ft. - that's a 1/2 mile of base board and door trim.  He painted a 1/2 mile of baseboard/door trim in one day and started installing it the next.  AMAZING!
  3. Love Wall.
For our 2nd anniversary, as a gift to me he ordered and created a "Love Wall" in our dining room.
  4. Blinds.
He ordered and installed blinds for our living room and dining room patio door.
  5. Painting and Retexture. He had our guest bathroom, office, baby's room and guestroom retextured with imperfect smooth AND has painted every room!
  6. Baby Crib.Yep, it's true, this amazing hubby of mine is building the baby crib.  I wish I had photos to show you, but I don't.  He is building it out of hardwood and steel.  Definitely building it to last!

My beautiful laundry room

Attention to detail...making precision cuts.

This is what a 1/2 mile of baseboard looks like.  ALOT!
The Love Wall.  A daily reminder of our amazing life!

And how does he do this?
Where does he find the time?
How can he possibly do all of this in 2 months?
It is beyond me.  He truly is talented.  All the while, he has exceeded his monthly quota for his job by the 15th sales day of the month, secured a spot in the "Top 10 Sales Reps" in his company based on goal attainment, and has continued to give me endless love, support and attention.

Oh and lets not forget our sneak attack on Nikki, Chad, Braylon, Jazlyn & Jaielle.  He even found time to put his craftiness to use for a project during our weekend trip to Texas.  He fixed their tile floor and taught Chad how to lay tile.  To no surprise this feat was accomplished in an afternoon!  The guy is AMAZING

His largest accomplishment and the thing I am most greatful for...the love, support and attention he has provided me during my pregnancy.  Mark, you truly are my rock, my everything, my RAINMAKER.  Thank you for making my heart glow and my face smile every single day!

Make it Rain!
